Our client is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join a dynamic and growing fiduciary business where collaboration, client service and professional development are at the heart of everything they do. You'll lead a talented administration team, oversee a varied portfolio of trust and company structures and play an active role in shaping the future of the client services function.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and develop relationships with clients, intermediaries and professional advisers, ensuring a high standard of client service and long-term relationship management.
- Lead, support and mentor members of the administration team, providing technical guidance, training and regular performance feedback.
- Oversee team workloads and priorities to ensure the efficient delivery of client services.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of trust and company structures, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for new business, support client onboarding and develop relationships with new introducers.
- Monitor team chargeability and profitability, reporting on financial performance where required.
- Assist with client risk assessments and oversee the collection and verification of client due diligence documentation.
- Implement procedural improvements and support the development of operational best practice.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies and control procedures.
- Act as an authorised signatory in accordance with internal procedures.
- Respond to internal audit queries and oversee the completion of annual returns where required.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives that contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of client services.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be STEP qualified, or have at least 5 years' experience in fiduciary administration, together with previous management experience in a similar role. You'll possess strong technical knowledge of trust and company administration, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and professional advisers. You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing workloads, developing team members and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent IT skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional standards of client service are essential.
