Our client is taking a flexible approach to this recruitment and is keen to meet talented trust professionals across a range of experience levels. From experienced Administrators looking to progress through to established Managers, candidates will be considered based on their individual skills and fiduciary background. The opportunity is available on either a permanent or temporary basis.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Support or manage the administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies, with responsibility appropriate to experience level.
  • Assist with the effective delivery of administrative and fiduciary services across the team.
  • Process distributions, payments and asset transfers.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Identify potential business development opportunities and communicate these appropriately.
  • Review investment and financial reports where appropriate to the level of the role.
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, governance and internal control.
  • Review and contribute to improvements in internal procedures and working practices.
  • Support and develop more junior colleagues where appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and high standards of professional conduct.
  • Complete the required annual Continuing Professional Development activity.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an experienced trust or fiduciary professional, with the level of experience required dependent on whether they are applying at Administrator, Trust Officer or Manager level. You'll have a good and continually developing knowledge of fiduciary services, together with strong administration, client relationship and communication skills. A relevant professional qualification such as STEP, whether completed or in progress, would be advantageous, particularly for the more experienced levels. More senior candidates will be expected to demonstrate broader technical knowledge and the ability to supervise and develop colleagues. Above all, you'll be self-motivated, professional and committed to delivering a high standard of client service.
