You'll oversee corporate and trust administration, maintain strong client relationships and help junior colleagues build their technical knowledge. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of corporate and fiduciary clients.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client structures, transactions and activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional intermediaries.
- Manage client expectations and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
- Assist with the establishment and onboarding of Guernsey companies, partnerships, trusts and other fiduciary structures.
- Coordinate workflows and ensure administration is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Monitor work in progress, time recording and debt collection where applicable.
- Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to maintain accurate client due diligence and periodic reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Maintain accurate client records and information within internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support management with operational matters and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and automation.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience within corporate, trust or fiduciary services, together with a strong understanding of relevant structures, administration and regulatory requirements. You'll be part-qualified or fully qualified in STEP or CGI (formerly ICSA), or working towards a relevant professional qualification, with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills are essential, alongside a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality client service. You'll be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation, with the confidence to support junior colleagues and work collaboratively across teams. Previous experience using fiduciary administration systems and document management platformswould be advantageous.
