Take your administration experience in a new direction with this specialist Yacht Ownership opportunity. You'll support international clients with the structures and practical arrangements behind yacht ownership while gaining exposure to transactions, onboarding and regulatory requirements. Full training means previous yacht industry experience isn't required.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across yacht ownership structures.
- Support yacht sales and purchases, charters, insurance and third-party appointments.
- Assist with payments, cash cards, invoicing and fiscal arrangements.
- Communicate with yacht owners, intermediaries and crew.
- Prepare correspondence, minutes, resolutions and powers of attorney.
- Maintain accurate corporate and client records within document management and ERP systems.
- Manage diary reminders and key recurring requirements for the Yacht Ownership team.
- Support new client onboarding and transfers to and from other corporate service providers.
- Undertake initial screening and review potential matches during onboarding.
- Coordinate the preparation and renewal of Yacht Ownership documentation.
- Prepare Beneficial Owner Declarations and Certificates of Incumbency.
- Maintain statutory records and support relevant Guernsey statutory requirements.
- Assist with wider operational and administrative requirements across the team.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be an organised and process-driven administrator with strong attention to detail and an interest in developing within the specialist Yacht Services sector. Previous trust, corporate or fiduciary experience would be advantageous, as would knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, although these are not essential as full training will be provided. Previous yacht knowledge is also desirable rather than required, and applications are welcomed from candidates looking to embark on a new career path. You'll be comfortable maintaining detailed records, communicating with a variety of stakeholders and identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures. Some travel to other offices, clients, family offices, lawyers, intermediaries and industry events may occasionally be required.
