Senior Fund Accountant

• Reviewing financial transactions processed by bookkeepers and junior staff.
• Reviewing bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Supporting treasury, liquidity and compliance reporting.
• Preparing and reviewing drawdown and distribution notices.
• Supporting VAT and corporate tax reporting processes.
• Managing investor queries and supporting investor relations activities.
• Preparing and reviewing management accounts and quarterly investor reports.
• Supporting the preparation and review of audited and unaudited annual accounts.
• Liaising with auditors, tax advisers and legal professionals.
• Supporting the supervision and development of junior team members.
• Assisting managers with planning, resource allocation and operational delivery.
• Supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or at the final stages of qualification, and possess strong experience within private equity, private debt or real estate fund administration. They will demonstrate technical accounting knowledge across FRS102, IFRS or related reporting standards, alongside experience delivering high-quality external reporting. Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a client-facing environment. Experience with systems such as Allvue, Investran or eFront would be advantageous.
