A brilliant opportunity is available for a proactive Finance Administrator to support the continued growth of a busy finance function. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring all accounts receivable processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Respond to finance-related queries received through shared inboxes, providing a professional and efficient service.
  • Maintain customer account records and update financial systems with accurate information.
  • Support the monthly debtor statement process and assist with credit control activities.
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure payments are authorised and completed in line with company procedures.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and verify supplier banking information.
  • Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, responding to supplier queries and maintaining organised records.
  • Assist with month-end finance processes, including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Support wider finance projects, system improvements and administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to month-end deadlines. You'll be proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using accounting software, while previous experience within a finance or accounts environment would be advantageous. A willingness to study towards a professional accounting qualification, such as CAT or an equivalent, is desirable. You'll be proactive, reliable and able to manage confidential information with discretion, while working collaboratively within a fast-paced finance team.
