Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare management accounts, financial statements, cash flow analyses and reporting packs for carried interest and co-investment vehicles.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for limited partnerships and related entities.
- Support carried interest allocations, investor distributions and payment schedules.
- Perform reconciliations and ensure financial information is accurate, complete and audit-ready.
- Assist with tax, regulatory reporting and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support year-end audit processes, liaising with auditors, fund administrators and professional advisers.
- Respond to accounting and reporting queries from stakeholders where required.
- Assist with maintaining investor records, financial data and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of accounting processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure deadlines are achieved and service standards are maintained.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be part-qualified or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with experience in audit, financial reporting, fund administration or investment management. You'll have strong Excel skills, excellent analytical ability and the confidence to work with financial data, reconciliations and reporting across multiple workstreams. Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, you'll communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders while handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Previous private equity or carried interest experience would be beneficial but isn't essential; a strong accounting foundation, sound judgement and a genuine interest in developing a specialist career within private equity are the qualities that matter most.
