This is a senior opportunity for a qualified accountant with fund accounting experience to lead client delivery across a portfolio of private equity and real estate structures. The role combines technical accounting expertise, people management and client relationship responsibilities within a growing and collaborative environment.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a portfolio of fund accounting clients.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and investor reporting.
- Reviewing NAV calculations, covenant reporting, VAT and tax reporting.
- Managing year-end audit processes and external auditor relationships.
- Reviewing treasury transactions and financial controls.
- Leading and developing junior accounting team members.
- Managing client relationships and service delivery expectations.
- Supporting process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Assisting with business projects and new client onboarding activities.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience and strong fund accounting expertise. They will possess a solid understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP and fund structures, together with experience managing, supervising or coaching staff. Strong technical accounting skills, stakeholder management abilities and a client-focused approach are essential. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, organised and capable of leading both people and client relationships effectively.
