If you're an experienced Management Accountant looking for a varied role within a fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal opportunity. You'll play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting and business performance while working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Produce budgets, forecasts and financial performance analysis.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
- Present financial information to senior stakeholders and board members.
- Review financial information prepared by the wider team.
- Authorise payments and oversee invoicing processes.
- Lead and support a small finance team.
- Work closely with operational teams to provide financial insight.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and finance projects.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous management accounting experience in a high-volume, complex environment. You'll have advanced Excel skills, experience with Sage X3 or a similar ERP system, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable leading a small team, building strong relationships across the business and delivering accurate financial reporting to tight deadlines. Experience working with the Guernsey Registry is essential, and applicants must already have the right to work in Guernsey as sponsorship is not available for this role.
