Bring your accounting expertise to a 12-month fixed-term role offering exposure to privately held corporate real estate structures and a diverse range of transactions. You'll combine hands-on accounting with relationship management and technical support while contributing to a professional and collaborative service.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate accounting records across client entity databases.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reporting.
- Produce capital account statements, periodic reports and net asset valuations.
- Develop a detailed understanding of client structures and transactions.
- Manage accounting deadlines and client expectations.
- Provide accounting support and guidance to administration colleagues.
- Build relationships with clients, auditors and third-party service providers.
- Ensure consistent accounting service levels across the client portfolio.
- Work in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by relevant experience, with strong up-to-date technical knowledge and practical application of UK GAAP and IFRS. You'll have excellent Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving ability and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Previous experience using accounting systems such as Viewpoint or QuickBooks would be advantageous. You'll be confident working independently and collaboratively, managing competing deadlines and building effective relationships with clients and colleagues, while demonstrating sound judgement and a professional, service-focused approach.
