This is a rewarding opportunity to join a well-regarded consultancy providing tailored regulatory support to clients across the financial services sector. As part of a close-knit team, you'll play a key role in delivering independent compliance advice, acting in prescribed roles where required, and helping clients strengthen their governance and AML/CFT frameworks.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Advising clients on regulatory compliance, AML/CFT obligations, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Acting as Corporate Compliance Officer and holding prescribed positions such as MLCO, MLRO or NO, as required.
- Delivering second-line compliance monitoring and preparing reports for boards and senior stakeholders.
- Conducting AML/CFT file reviews, incident investigations, and policy assessments.
- Supporting clients with the implementation of regulatory changes and strengthening internal procedures.
- Delivering compliance training and promoting a culture of regulatory awareness.
- Building strong relationships with clients, regulators, and internal team members.
- Supporting business development activity and contributing to the wider growth of the consultancy brand.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Guernsey's financial services regulations, with demonstrable experience in AML/CFT and regulatory compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple client needs are essential. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in presenting to boards would be beneficial.
