Join a leading professional services provider in a pivotal role managing client onboarding and acceptance processes. This position forms part of the firm's risk and business enablement function, overseeing a team that supports client-facing staff across the Channel Islands.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the onboarding advisers team and managing the client onboarding and continuance processes.
- Acting as the first line support to engagement teams for KYC and client acceptance-related queries.
- Supporting process improvement and operational excellence through the use of technology.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk and global onboarding teams.
- Participating in international working groups to stay abreast of changes in onboarding policy and systems.
- Managing onboarding system access and controls in the role of System Administrator.
- Ensuring effective training and mentoring is delivered to both team members and client-facing staff.
- Driving consistent standards in data quality and timely management reporting.
- Overseeing delivery and compliance with quality management standards across all onboarding activity.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring experience in client risk management and KYC/AML onboarding processes within a financial or professional services environment. Strong relationship management skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to lead and coach a team are essential. A relevant ICA or AML qualification would be advantageous, as would familiarity with onboarding systems such as Salesforce. The role may require occasional travel between islands and to other offices in the UK or Europe.
