Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager within their Risk and Compliance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the effectiveness of financial crime controls, with a focus on quality assurance of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) practices.

Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Performing quality assurance checks on first line CDD processes to ensure compliance with AML, CFT and sanctions requirements.
- Reviewing CDD records to ensure documentation is complete, accurate and aligned with internal policies.
- Supporting business teams in obtaining customer CDD information in a timely and compliant manner.
- Monitoring adherence to regulatory and procedural requirements and escalating any deviations or gaps.
- Providing coaching and constructive feedback to first line teams to improve CDD quality and awareness.
- Managing personal caseloads to ensure reviews are completed to a high standard and within expected timeframes.
- Supporting the Programme Manager and SMEs with tasks and initiatives related to enhanced due diligence.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience conducting corporate CDD, including exposure to complex structures and enhanced due diligence. A relevant professional qualification such as an ICA Advanced Certificate or Diploma would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of AML and CFT principles, and the ability to deliver feedback clearly and constructively are essential. This role suits an individual who can manage priorities effectively while maintaining high standards in a regulated environment.
