Join a Private Client team where you'll combine hands-on portfolio management with client relationships and people development. You'll take responsibility for a varied range of structures, support junior team members and work closely with senior colleagues to ensure regulatory obligations and client expectations are consistently met. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administer and manage a varied portfolio of private client structures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional intermediaries.
- Review client structures and ensure periodic reviews are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage billing processes, recoverability and portfolio performance against agreed KPIs.
- Review and implement relevant legal and tax advice.
- Monitor statutory, contractual and internal deadlines across the client portfolio.
- Delegate, review and monitor work completed by junior team members.
- Support the training, development and performance management of junior colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with AML, regulatory and internal risk requirements.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services and support new business development.
- Deputise for the line manager when required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' extensive administration experience, ideally gained within private client, trust or fiduciary services, and will hold or be studying towards a STEP or CGI (ICSA) qualification. You'll have strong knowledge of client administration, risk and regulatory requirements, together with excellent analytical, organisational and relationship management skills. You'll be confident managing deadlines, reviewing and delegating work and supporting the development of junior colleagues, while maintaining excellent attention to detail and a consistently high standard of client service.
