As HR Business Partner, you'll play a central role in shaping how people and strategy come together across our clients' organisation. This position combines hands-on HR operations with high-level partnering, giving you the scope to influence management decisions, travel over to other islands when required, support employees across multiple jurisdictions, and ensure HR practices remain consistent, compliant, and effective.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, including performance, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Overseeing HR operations such as absence management, performance management, recruitment, and engagement.
- Supporting the implementation of the People Plan, aligning HR strategy with business objectives.
- Facilitating the performance management process and training managers in feedback and evaluation.
- Designing and supporting recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, including interview skills training for managers.
- Ensuring compliance with employment law and data protection requirements across jurisdictions.
- Managing onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Analysing HR trends and producing monthly MI reports for leadership.
- Overseeing employee programs, benefits, and engagement initiatives to enhance retention.
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues, supporting professional development, and building effective relationships.
- Promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion throughout the organisation.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with at least 5 years' experience in a comparable HR environment. They will demonstrate strong HR generalist knowledge, including experience working with employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions. A degree in HR, Business Administration, or Psychology would be advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confidence in advising senior managers, and the ability to balance operational and strategic responsibilities are essential. The successful candidate will also be proactive, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
