A new opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor to join our clients' busy HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract! The role will support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, while contributing to the delivery of people strategy and workplace culture.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing first-line advice to managers and colleagues on performance, conduct, absence, recruitment, and contractual matters.
- Supporting the delivery of onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and frameworks.
- Contributing to employee relations case management, including disciplinaries and grievances.
- Assisting with recruitment campaigns, job description reviews, and candidate sourcing.
- Supporting learning and development programmes and training needs analysis.
- Producing management information and reports to support decision-making.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) and have experience in a generalist HR role. They will bring strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and influence managers and colleagues effectively. A sound knowledge of HR practices across the employee lifecycle is essential. CIPD Level 5, experience in HR advisory roles, or familiarity with financial services HR would be advantageous.
