This role offers the opportunity to work across trust administration, bookkeeping and client relationship management within a busy Family Office environment. You'll support a varied portfolio of trust and company structures while developing your technical expertise and working alongside experienced colleagues on a broad range of fiduciary matters.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administer a portfolio of trust, company and wealth structures, ensuring accurate records are maintained at all times.
- Prepare and maintain statutory records, including minutes, resolutions and client information databases.
- Complete day-to-day bookkeeping for trust and company structures, including reconciliations and trial balances.
- Assist with the opening and closing of client bank accounts and monitor incoming funds.
- Liaise with banks regarding payments, deposits, investment transactions and settlement instructions.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, intermediaries, investment advisers and other stakeholders.
- Prepare investment review documentation and meeting notes where required.
- Support the formation and ongoing administration of legal entities and trust structures.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant tax, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ensure internal policies, procedures and time recording requirements are followed accurately.
- Support and collaborate with colleagues to deliver an exceptional standard of client service.
- For Senior Administrator level, provide guidance to junior team members and assist with more complex trust administration matters.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in trust administration, with strong organisational skills and a proactive, client-focused approach. For the Senior Administrator position, experience working towards or holding a STEP, CGI or equivalent qualification would be advantageous, together with a sound understanding of trust administration processes and regulatory requirements. A bookkeeping or accounting background with exposure to the trust sector would be highly desirable for either level. You'll possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload while building positive relationships with clients, advisers and colleagues.
