Start building specialist financial crime expertise in a role offering broad exposure across AML, CDD, sanctions and regulatory reporting. You'll work alongside experienced Compliance professionals while supporting the accurate administration and escalation of financial crime matters. A willingness to learn and strong attention to detail will be key.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to senior Financial Crime and Compliance colleagues.
  • Assist with the logging and administration of internal Suspicious Activity Reports.
  • Maintain accurate SAR records, supporting information and follow-up actions.
  • Support sanctions and wider financial crime administration.
  • Maintain financial crime trackers, records and management information.
  • Assist with AML/CFT/CPF documentation and regulatory reporting.
  • Support CDD, EDD, client risk assessments, ongoing monitoring and remediation activities.
  • Assist with risk assessments, control reviews and regulatory enquiries.
  • Support financial crime projects, system testing and process improvements.
  • Assist with the coordination of financial crime training.
  • Identify and escalate unusual, sensitive or higher-risk matters appropriately.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling financial crime and client information.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have some experience within Compliance, financial crime, administration or wider financial services, although specialist financial crime experience isn't essential if you have a genuine willingness to learn. You'll ideally have some awareness of AML/CFT/CPF, sanctions, CDD, EDD, client risk assessments, screening and suspicious activity reporting, or be motivated to develop this knowledge. Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail are essential, together with professional communication skills, discretion and the ability to manage competing priorities. You'll be confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning screening, CRM and case management systems. A relevant professional qualification would be beneficial but isn't required.
