Join a fiduciary team where you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate client information and supporting effective compliance processes. From onboarding and enhanced due diligence to regulatory reporting and document management, you'll work across a broad range of responsibilities. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within internal databases.
- Support new client onboarding and entity closure processes.
- Undertake CDD and enhanced due diligence checks on new and existing clients.
- Review client documentation in accordance with Guernsey AML/CFT requirements and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate CDD records and supporting documentation.
- Identify and escalate higher-risk matters to the Compliance Officer or MLRO.
- Liaise with client relationship teams to obtain documentation and resolve CDD queries.
- Assist with the development and improvement of CDD procedures and checklists.
- Support compliance reporting, audit preparation and regulatory projects.
- Assist senior Compliance colleagues with management information and maintaining regulatory records.
- Support the review and updating of internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist with document retention and destruction processes.
- Provide occasional administrative cover for post and courier services.
- Undertake wider operational and compliance administration as required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's experience within CDD, compliance or client onboarding, preferably gained within a fiduciary or financial services environment. You'll have a good understanding of client due diligence processes and an interest in developing your knowledge of Guernsey regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach and excellent communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly and professionally. You'll have good IT skills, ideally including experience with client databases and document management systems such as Laserfiche or 5-Series. Working towards a relevant professional qualification such as ICA or STEP, or a willingness to undertake professional study, would also be advantageous.
