You'll work across financial statements, management reporting and valuations while developing a detailed understanding of the structures and transactions behind the numbers. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Prepare and review financial statements for corporate real estate structures.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reports.
- Produce periodic reports, capital account statements and net asset valuations.
- Develop a detailed understanding of client structures and transactions.
- Ensure accounting deadlines and client expectations are effectively managed.
- Provide accounting advice and support to administration colleagues.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, auditors and third-party providers.
- Ensure consistent service standards across the client portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across jurisdictions.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified through relevant experience, with strong technical accounting knowledge and practical experience of UK GAAP and IFRS. You'll have excellent Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Experience with Viewpoint, QuickBooks or similar accounting systems would be beneficial. You'll also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines and the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a proactive, professional and client-focused approach.
