Build your career in Guernsey's funds sector with a varied role offering hands-on experience across fund administration, investment transactions and investor onboarding. This opportunity is open to both school leavers and those with some previous financial services experience.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of fund and corporate structures.
- Assist with banking, payments and investment transactions.
- Support the onboarding of investors and ensure client records are accurately maintained.
- Respond to client queries and help build positive, professional relationships.
- Liaise with banks, auditors and other industry professionals as part of the ongoing administration of fund structures.
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Support the delivery of a high-quality and responsive service to clients.
- Develop practical knowledge of fund operations, compliance requirements and wider financial services.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the efficient administration of client portfolios.
- Take an active approach to learning and developing technical and professional skills.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing a career within funds and financial services, with 1+ years' relevant experience preferred but not essential. Applications are equally welcomed from graduates, A-level, and school leavers looking to begin their career, while a degree or relevant professional qualification would be advantageous. You'll have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Confident communication and relationship-building skills are important, alongside a positive and collaborative approach. You'll also be comfortable using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
