FTC CDD Analyst

This is a hands-on compliance role where your technical knowledge and analytical skills will be put to good use every day. You'll review CDD documentation, assess risk, support onboarding activity and contribute to maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance across the business. The position is offered as a fixed-term contract for 6 months, with full-time hours preferred.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyse client structures to identify CDD requirements for trusts, companies, partnerships and related entities.
  • Review and assess client due diligence documentation, identifying deficiencies and requesting additional information where required.
  • Apply AML/CFT/CPF regulations and a risk-based approach when assessing client information.
  • Record and maintain accurate CDD and risk assessment information within internal systems.
  • Create and monitor workflow tasks to ensure CDD requirements are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Review screening results and investigate potential matches or adverse findings in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Respond to CDD and compliance queries from colleagues across the business.
  • Prepare CDD reports and support internal committee reporting where required.
  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance of accurate client records and regulatory documentation.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments and contribute to maintaining compliance with evolving AML and CDD requirements.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience within a fiduciary environment and previous front-line compliance or CDD experience, together with a strong understanding of AML/CFT/CPF requirements and the GFSC Handbook. You'll be confident reviewing complex client structures, identifying risk, assessing due diligence documentation and applying a risk-based approach to regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to work proactively within a collaborative team. A professional AML/CFT qualification and experience using fiduciary systems would be advantageous but are not essential.
