Our client is seeking a Customer Services Manager to oversee a busy customer-focused team! This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective supervision of staff, and the smooth running of operations, while building strong relationships with customers and other departments.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising customer service staff, prioritising workloads, and ensuring service standards are consistently met.
- Answering and managing customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Scheduling company resources to meet both customer requirements and efficiency targets.
- Collecting outstanding debts and reviewing repayment arrangements with clients.
- Managing customer accounts including processing credit notes, direct debits, and orders.
- Supporting marketing projects and providing cover within the wider accounts and customer service areas.
- Promoting company values, completing appraisals, and ensuring effective team communication.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer service management, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. A confident telephone manner, the ability to handle complaints effectively, and strong IT literacy are essential. The successful candidate will be proactive, analytical, and capable of motivating and developing their team while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
