Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their professional services team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified individual to manage audit assignments from planning through to completion. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and managing audit assignments within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Conducting pre-audit risk assessments and evaluating internal controls.
- Designing audit tests and ensuring compliance with firm methodologies.
- Preparing or reviewing financial statements and audit documentation.
- Supervising and coaching junior team members, including performance evaluations.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and staying abreast of developments.
- Identifying audit issues and proposing solutions in line with regulatory standards.
- Monitoring own WIP and supporting billing efforts.
- Acting as an ambassador for the firm, identifying business opportunities.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) and have a minimum of 3 years' audit experience, ideally including financial services clients. Strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and proven experience in managing teams are essential. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work to deadlines in a client-facing environment are key.
