A brilliant opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative finance team within a global offshore law firm. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial data and ensuring the smooth operation of internal financial processes.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administering the financial aspects of property conveyancing, including monitoring incoming funds, recording in 3E accounting software, processing conveyance packs and settlement of monies.
- Maintaining and controlling client and office bank accounts.
- Recording financial transactions to client and office ledgers.
- Supporting the finance team by managing shared inboxes and assisting fee earners with matter reporting queries.
- Overseeing accounts payable, including supplier payments, staff expenses and client reimbursements.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Providing cover for other finance functions and undertaking ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess good accounting knowledge with previous experience in a finance administration role and a minimum GCSE Maths grade B (or equivalent). They will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a collaborative work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience within a law firm or with practice management systems such as Elite 3E would be advantageous.
