An opportunity has arisen with a respected provider of professional services for a skilled accounting professional to lead and deliver high-quality financial reporting for a diverse global client base. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the timely and accurate production of accounts while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day activities of assigned accounting staff, allocating work to meet client deadlines.
- Collaborating with teams in Guernsey, Jersey, the UK and Cayman to provide consistent and efficient service.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS and, where relevant, US GAAP.
- Maintaining accurate accounting records in systems such as QuickBooks, Viewpoint and Yardi.
- Reviewing monthly, quarterly and semi-annual client reports.
- Supporting internal development by conducting performance reviews and setting clear objectives.
- Building trusted client relationships and serving as a key contact for auditors and external parties.
- Ensuring compliance with firm policies and actively contributing to a unified cross-jurisdictional approach.
- Continuously developing professional knowledge through CPD and training initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by relevant experience) and have strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset. Previous exposure to QuickBooks, Viewpoint or Yardi is advantageous, along with experience in leading and developing team members.
