Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Producing and delivering management accounts, group reporting packs, and regulatory reports, alongside supporting documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of draft financial commentaries for internal review.
- Preparing statutory financial statements and tax computations/returns for company and group submissions.
- Developing and enhancing finance department procedures and controls.
- Supporting the preparation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Reviewing reconciliations of nostro and impersonal accounts.
- Overseeing the purchase ledger process, including invoice authorisations and workflow management.
- Producing and reviewing ad-hoc financial and regulatory analyses as required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold ACCA or CIMA part-qualification (or be CAT qualified) and bring a minimum of three years' relevant experience, ideally within a financial services environment. Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level is required, with the ability to construct and manipulate complex spreadsheets. Candidates should also demonstrate familiarity with accounting standards such as US GAAP, UK GAAP, or IFRS, and experience with core financial systems (e.g. BM+, T24, SAP). A strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and Basel III framework would be advantageous.
