Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme through monitoring reviews and testing activities.
  • Assist with regulatory reviews, policy updates and compliance administration.
  • Gather and assess evidence to support compliance monitoring and control assessments.
  • Review customer due diligence, sanctions and financial crime controls.
  • Prepare working papers, reports and management information.
  • Maintain compliance registers, trackers and governance documentation.
  • Support regulatory and remediation projects, including system and process enhancements.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the business to support compliance and risk activities.
  • Assist with risk monitoring, governance reporting and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an organised and motivated individual who is keen to build a long-term career within Compliance. Previous experience in financial services, insurance, compliance, risk, operations, audit or customer due diligence would be advantageous but is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills. You'll have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, a willingness to learn and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team. An interest in compliance, financial crime and risk, together with a commitment to studying towards a relevant professional qualification, will be key to success in this role. You'll also gain valuable exposure to the Risk function, providing a broad foundation for future career development.
