This is a senior technical opportunity, focused on delivering enterprise digital communications solutions within a specialist consultancy environment. This role requires strong Mitel expertise alongside the ability to design and implement complex voice solutions
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise digital communication solutions.
- Installing, testing and commissioning unified communications platforms.
- Analysing client environments and recommending system improvements.
- Leading client engagements to gather and validate technical requirements.
- Producing technical proposals, solution designs and documentation.
- Managing project delivery including timelines, milestones and implementation.
- Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers and third parties.
- Testing solutions and managing handover to operational teams.
- Providing technical guidance to stakeholders and supporting product integration.
- Supporting new technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring timely resolution of faults and work orders to maintain service performance.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, implementing and supporting Mitel enterprise telephony and unified communications platforms across on-premise, hybrid and cloud environments. They will demonstrate deep technical knowledge of voice architecture, SIP, call routing, numbering plans and resilience design, alongside experience delivering migrations and platform modernisation projects. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant Mitel certifications are essential, and experience with Microsoft Teams integration or broader collaboration platforms would be advantageous. The successful individual will be technically strong, client-focused and capable of delivering complex projects within structured delivery frameworks.
