Senior Business Solutions Architect

• Leading the design and development of enterprise data platforms and architecture.
• Defining and implementing architectural standards, frameworks and best practices.
• Developing cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Acting as a senior technical advisor across projects and business initiatives.
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with IT, InfoSec, Compliance and business teams across jurisdictions.
• Driving automation, optimisation and data-driven process improvements.
• Supporting the adoption of AI and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Managing relationships with third-party providers and delivery partners.
• Contributing to project delivery, documentation and stakeholder reporting.
• Promoting best practices and supporting training and user adoption.
• Monitoring emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for innovation.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years' experience in solution architecture, system engineering or technology-driven projects, with strong expertise in Microsoft-based data platforms such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric or equivalent. They will demonstrate a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem including Power Platform, Power BI and M365, alongside experience in data modelling, governance and integration. Relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous. The successful individual will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, manage complex projects and deliver high-quality technical solutions. Experience within a regulated or financial services environment would be beneficial, along with a proactive and adaptable approach.
