Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to manage complex trust and corporate structures within a regulated fiduciary environment! This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to operate independently while supporting junior colleagues.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administering a portfolio of trust and corporate entities, including more complex client structures.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory records, payments, written correspondence and bookkeeping entries.
- Monitoring and reviewing draft accounts where required.
- Managing portfolio organisation, delegating work appropriately and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitoring billing and receivables across the portfolio.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of trust law, corporate governance, AML and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying operational risks and resolving issues in collaboration with management.
- Mentoring and guiding Trainee Administrators, Administrators and Trust Officers.
- Assisting in workload management across the team during peak periods.
- Supporting appraisal and development processes for more junior staff where required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified (STEP, CGI, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or have extensive experience in trust and company administration. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and confidence managing complex fiduciary arrangements. Excellent communication skills, strong time management and the ability to work independently while supporting junior colleagues are essential. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and commercially aware.
