Our client is seeking an Assistant Trust Manager who's ready to take on more responsibility, support a growing team and help deliver a polished fiduciary service. This role would suit someone who is looking to refine their technical trust expertise while gaining exposure to leadership, process improvement and client management.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and deputising for the Trust Manager in team oversight.
  • Reviewing statutory updates, filings and documentation.
  • Monitoring accounts progress and liaising with accounting teams.
  • Overseeing banking arrangements, mandates and fee appropriateness.
  • Supporting client relationships, meetings and correspondence.
  • Liaising with investment committees and supporting investment policy reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with governance, filing and regulatory obligations.
  • Supporting training, process improvement and risk awareness within the team.
  • Monitoring utilisation, financial targets and debtor positions.
  • Preparing information for board meetings and acting as an authorised signatory when required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong technical trust administration experience, supported by STEP, CGI or equivalent qualifications. They will have excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to supervise and support team members. A commercial mindset, strong organisational ability and confidence handling moderately complex documentation are essential.
