This position sits within the Support Services function, providing key oversight and support to operational processes and compliance initiatives across the business.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Compliance Monitoring Programme and managing associated registers.
- Liaising with teams across the business to resolve CDD issues and ensure timely action on compliance matters.
- Responding to breaches, errors, omissions, and complaints in line with internal policy.
- Conducting reviews of high-risk files and escalated issues, and preparing compliance input on onboarding processes.
- Drafting and maintaining compliance policies, internal management reports, and regulatory filings.
- Building strong relationships with business units to offer guidance on procedural and regulatory matters.
- Actively engaging with Group-wide compliance projects and collaborating across jurisdictions.
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the GFSC Handbook and broader regulatory developments relevant to Guernsey.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior compliance experience, ideally at Manager or Assistant Manager level, with a strong grasp of Guernsey regulatory obligations. You will have a background in regulated finance or professional services, with proven organisational skills and supervisory experience. A professional compliance qualification (e.g., ICA Diploma or similar) is expected, alongside strong IT proficiency.
