Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing support across a client insurance portfolio, including policy administration and documentation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of board packs and renewal reports.
  • Supporting the drafting and review of insurance and reinsurance policies.
  • Monitoring reinsurance recoveries and assisting in resolving outstanding claims.
  • Liaising with external contacts such as auditors, legal advisors, and regulators as required.
  • Handling client correspondence and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining records of reinsurance documents and underwriting statistics.
  • Reviewing insurance data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Undertaking tasks that support solvency and capital adequacy monitoring.
  • Contributing to a positive working environment and adhering to internal processes and conduct guidelines.


Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to develop professionally and work towards a relevant qualification such as Cert CII. A background in insurance is beneficial but not essential. The following attributes are required:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a professional office setting.
  • Strong A-level results or equivalent academic achievement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a dynamic environment.
  • A professional, client-focused attitude with a commitment to learning and development.
