Join our client - a leading insurance management provider as an Insurance Manager, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a diverse portfolio of captive insurance clients. This varied role includes managing insurance programme placements, regulatory oversight, board-level reporting and client development. With frequent interaction with senior stakeholders from global organisations, this position offers both strategic and technical breadth in a dynamic team environment.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing insurance renewals, placements and related servicing for a portfolio of captive clients.
- Preparing and presenting insurance-related matters at board and underwriting committee meetings.
- Drafting and reviewing board meeting materials and contract wordings.
- Maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships across clients, brokers, regulators and internal teams.
- Supporting the strategic development of insurance programmes and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Overseeing regulatory compliance and ensuring timely communication of market changes.
- Contributing to team development and staff training, including oversight of direct reports.
- Providing accurate insurance and claims data for financial reporting and management accounts.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold or be close to attaining an ACII (or similar) qualification and have solid experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry, ideally within captives. Strong technical knowledge, client service focus, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. Prior supervisory experience, attention to detail, and strong time management skills are highly beneficial.
