This is a technically focused role within the Custodian Trustee team of a regulated financial services business. The successful candidate will support governance and monitoring functions while undertaking a variety of regulatory, fund oversight, and valuation-related responsibilities.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining breach registers and monitoring custodian trustee checklists.
- Reviewing fund valuations on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Coordinating regulatory notifications and supporting oversight visits.
- Reviewing annual financial statements and Scheme Particulars.
- Performing reconciliations and associated compliance monitoring checks.
- Assisting in investigations related to breaches and pricing errors.
- Reviewing and updating procedures to ensure fitness for purpose.
- Supporting audit processes and preparing related documentation.
- Monitoring adherence to GFSC guidance and rules for Collective Investment Schemes.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong Guernsey funds background with experience in custodian or fund administration. A good working knowledge of GFSC rules and guidance is essential, as is familiarity with pricing sources such as Bloomberg and IDS. Strong organisational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and confident communication abilities are key to success. Candidates must be proactive and open to ongoing learning and development.
