If you're organised, enjoy working with detail and are keen to build a career in financial services, this role could be a great fit. You'll support the day-to-day administration of trusts and companies while gaining practical experience across financial records, investments and client matters. It's a varied position with plenty of opportunity to learn.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the administration of a portfolio of trust and company clients.
- Set up and maintain client information and statutory records.
- Prepare minutes of directors' and shareholders' meetings and trustee resolutions.
- Complete day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations up to trial balance.
- Assist with opening and closing entity bank accounts.
- Review incoming funds and support banking and investment transactions.
- Prepare routine correspondence and investment review minutes.
- Develop an understanding of relevant policies, procedures and tax considerations.
- Build knowledge of the formation and administration of trusts and legal entities.
- Maintain accurate time records and work towards agreed utilisation targets.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths, together with effective and confident communication skills. You'll be organised, detail-focused and able to manage your workload while working to agreed standards and deadlines. A positive and committed approach to teamwork is essential, along with a willingness to learn, develop your technical knowledge and contribute to delivering excellent client service.
