Whether you're an experienced gardener, keen to learn, or working in a trade and looking for a change, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a small, friendly team maintaining the gardens and grounds of a private residential estate. You'll help care for the gardens and grounds and lend your practical skills to general maintenance and DIY tasks. The team takes pride in its work, so we're looking for someone who shares that approach and has a genuine interest in doing a job well.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the day-to-day gardening and grounds maintenance of a private residential estate.
- Support the upkeep and general appearance of the gardens and outdoor areas.
- Undertake a variety of practical gardening and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with general property maintenance and DIY duties where required.
- Carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to maintain high standards across the estate.
- Maintain a discreet, respectful and professional approach while working within a private residential environment.
Skills / Qualifications
Gardening experience is welcome, but enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important, with full training provided. You'll need to be competent with DIY, comfortable with physical outdoor work, and discreet and respectful when working around a private home. Additional trade skills would be a bonus.
