FTC Receptionist/Administration Assistant

This is a busy and varied opportunity for an experienced administrator who is comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You'll combine reception duties with administrative support, working closely with colleagues, professionals and members of the public. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, on a temporary contract until 3 May 2027.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide an effective and customer-focused reception and telephone service.
- Welcome visitors and respond professionally to enquiries.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the wider team.
- Arrange meetings involving staff, members of the public and other professionals.
- Maintain databases and case management systems.
- Input information and statistical data accurately.
- Scan and upload documentation to relevant systems.
- Assist with the wider administration team's workload as required.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Adapt to changing priorities and provide flexible support during busy periods.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a confident and highly organised administrator who is comfortable working in a very busy, fast-moving environment and managing several competing priorities at once. You'll have excellent verbal communication skills, good Microsoft Office knowledge and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A professional, non-judgemental approach is essential when dealing with members of the public and other professionals, together with discretion and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. You'll also be a flexible and supportive team player who can remain calm and organised when unexpected tasks arise. A valid Category B driving licence is required.
