This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving and building strong working relationships. Supporting procurement and purchasing activities from enquiry through to delivery, you'll work closely with suppliers and colleagues to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Alongside procurement, you'll also provide valuable administrative support across sales and business operations.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage procurement activities from quotation through to purchasing and delivery.
- Obtain supplier quotations and support pricing negotiations to achieve best value.
- Prepare customer sales quotations and provide administrative support to the sales team.
- Coordinate software licensing and renewal processes.
- Maintain accurate procurement, purchasing and supplier records.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish inventory in line with business requirements.
- Support managed print services by coordinating contract quotations, renewals and consumable stock.
- Liaise with colleagues, customers and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
- Provide general administrative support, including document management, scheduling and data entry.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
- Assist with business projects and additional administrative duties as required.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in administration, procurement, purchasing or sales support, together with excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail. You'll be confident building relationships with suppliers and colleagues, managing multiple priorities and communicating effectively at all levels. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft 365, are essential, while experience using procurement or business systems would be advantageous. You'll be proactive, commercially aware and committed to delivering accurate, efficient support while identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
