For someone who enjoys combining compliance, client service and operational responsibilities, this role offers excellent variety within a regulated financial services environment. You'll play an important role in supporting AML reviews, customer due diligence activities and operational processes while helping maintain high standards of service and compliance.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting AML file reviews for onboarding, servicing events and periodic reviews.
  • Completing Customer Risk Assessments (CRA), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) activities.
  • Reviewing complex customer and corporate structures and documenting findings.
  • Supporting customer operations and transaction processing activities.
  • Maintaining customer records and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Liaising with customers, intermediaries and stakeholders by telephone and email.
  • Supporting commission processing, payment activities and customer servicing requirements.
  • Identifying trends, quality issues and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Logging risks, issues and remediation actions in line with internal requirements.
  • Participating in projects, testing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting compliance with legal, audit and regulatory requirements.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within financial services and demonstrate strong operational, client servicing and compliance knowledge. They will possess experience conducting AML reviews, Customer Risk Assessments, Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence activities, alongside a strong understanding of regulatory and operational control requirements. Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and organisational skills are essential, together with strong Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency. The successful individual will be proactive, adaptable and capable of building effective relationships while delivering a high standard of service within a regulated environment.
