Join a well-established fiduciary business on a minimum 6-month contract, supporting a varied portfolio of trust and company structures. This role offers flexibility in level, suited to both experienced Trust Officers and Senior Trust Officers.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administering a portfolio of trust and company structures, including complex cases.
- Preparing statutory records, payments, correspondence and maintaining client documentation.
- Supporting bookkeeping and financial record keeping, including review of draft accounts.
- Managing client billing and monitoring receivables.
- Liaising with clients, intermediaries and third parties.
- Assisting with periodic reviews and compliance processes.
- Maintaining awareness of regulatory requirements and industry developments.
- Supporting workload management and delegating tasks where appropriate.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, providing guidance and training.
- Identifying and resolving issues within portfolios and supporting team efficiency.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be qualified or working towards a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, CGI or ACCA and have several years' experience within trust and company administration. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting junior colleagues. More senior candidates will bring experience managing complex portfolios and mentoring team members, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
