Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their Fund Services team in Guernsey! Working within a highly experienced compliance function, this role plays a key part in advising the business and ensuring strong regulatory and legislative adherence.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Advising key business stakeholders on compliance matters within the Fund Services business.
- Supporting the Senior Manager - Compliance in relation to Guernsey-based fund entities.
- Ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Providing guidance on compliance standards, issues and best practice.
- Supporting the ongoing development and embedding of a strong compliance culture.
- Maintaining awareness of regulatory developments impacting the fiduciary and fund services sector.
- Assisting with regulatory reporting, reviews and engagement where required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified compliance professional with strong experience gained within the fiduciary or fund services sector. They will have a solid understanding of fund structures and regulatory requirements, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 7 years' relevant compliance experience and be comfortable operating at a managerial level, advising senior stakeholders and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
