Finance Manager

• Support the development of financial systems to drive digital transformation within the finance function.
• Assist with the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, including system migrations.
• Maintain and develop financial controls, with a particular focus on SOX compliance.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver timely, high-quality management information.
• Produce periodic reporting and management information as agreed with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee credit control processes and support effective debtor collection.
• Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with auditors throughout the audit process.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist with budget preparation and produce variance analysis by entity and department.
• Monitor cash balances and treasury activity.
• Provide day-to-day support and guidance to junior finance team members.
• Ensure timely approvals, reconciliations, and support the ongoing development of the finance team.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised professional qualification, such as ACCA or equivalent, and have strong experience within a regulated finance environment. You will be highly accurate, confident working to deadlines, and comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. This role suits someone who enjoys combining hands-on financial management with systems improvement and team support.
