This role is ideal for someone with strong fiduciary technical knowledge who enjoys improving processes, supporting team performance and ensuring high standards across a diverse trust portfolio.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the daily administration of a portfolio of trust and company structures.
  • Ensuring all procedures, laws, regulations and codes of practice are followed.
  • Liaising with accounting, tax and operational teams on relevant matters.
  • Building and maintaining strong client and intermediary relationships.
  • Attending client and advisor meetings when required.
  • Providing support to team members and resolving administration queries.
  • Acting as a B-signatory where appropriate.
  • Identifying efficiency improvements and implementing changes.
  • Providing cover for other teams or managers during absences.
  • Overseeing a trust administration team and supporting sub-team leaders.
  • Ensuring staff receive appropriate training and development.
  • Managing workload allocation and supporting delegation.
  • Completing appraisals, probation reviews and performance discussions.
  • Ensuring KPIs, efficiency targets and deadlines are met.
  • Escalating issues to the Client Director where required.
  • Supporting conflict resolution within the team.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years' experience in fiduciary services and hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA. They will have strong technical knowledge across trusts, companies and related structures, along with solid understanding of Guernsey's legal and regulatory environment. Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to manage deadlines, support team members and maintain exceptional client relationships.
