A fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected private banking institution in Guernsey, where you'll take a leading role in managing and expanding relationships with high and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will drive revenue growth while delivering bespoke wealth management solutions.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively acquiring and developing new relationships with high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, primarily within the Guernsey market.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving strategic growth through tailored client engagement.
  • Building and maintaining a robust network of professional relationships to generate referrals and deepen client loyalty.
  • Developing and executing a business plan to achieve both individual and team targets.
  • Preparing and presenting compelling pitches and proposals that showcase the firm's value proposition and services.
  • Working cross-functionally with Investment Management, Product Specialists, and Advisory teams to deliver tailored wealth solutions.
  • Keeping informed of market developments, competitor activity and regulatory changes to support growth initiatives.
  • Promoting the bank's suite of products and services to clients through personalised recommendations and cross-selling.
  • Supporting brand initiatives through involvement in marketing strategies and client events.
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development in line with broader team goals.
  • Upholding all regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven relationship professional with at least 5 years' experience in private banking or wealth management, ideally supported by the Investment Advice Diploma. A strong background in sales and business development is essential, along with a proven ability to grow and manage a portfolio of high and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a client-first mindset, and a deep understanding of investment solutions and strategic relationship management within a highly regulated environment.
