This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected financial services organisation at the centre of its business transformation strategy. As part of a newly established Project and Change Delivery function, the Business Analyst will shape change initiatives that deliver measurable impact across the business - not by focusing on technical implementation, but by defining the what and why behind each solution.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements clearly and effectively.
- Facilitating workshops and interviews to understand current pain points and future needs.
- Translating business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Mapping existing ("as-is") business processes and designing future-state ("to-be") workflows.
- Identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and enhanced client service.
- Supporting project managers and product owners throughout the change lifecycle.
- Assisting with business case development and the prioritisation of requirements.
- Liaising with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives - without getting drawn into technical implementation.
- Coordinating and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) and supporting training, documentation, and communications for go-live.
- Maintaining governance documentation, change logs, and process maps in line with internal frameworks.
- Contributing to a learning culture by sharing insights, championing innovation, and promoting cross-team collaboration.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in business analysis within financial services, ideally in a change or transformation environment. This is a business-facing role focused on understanding what the organisation needs and why - not how to deliver it technically. Strong analytical thinking, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to produce clear user stories and business cases. The successful candidate will be highly organised, an effective communicator, and confident operating across all levels of the business. A sound understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks is also required.
