This is a great opportunity to join a well-regarded professional services firm in a role that sits at the intersection of compliance, client service, and operations. Working within the Private Client and Trusts department, the successful candidate will support client onboarding processes, carry out due diligence checks, and assist with regulatory documentation. This role offers exposure to high-quality work and the chance to build a solid foundation in onboarding and regulatory administration.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the onboarding process to ensure all required client data and documentation is obtained.
- Conducting client due diligence checks and performing background research.
- Using internal systems and public sources to identify adverse media and assess client risk.
- Liaising with clients, lawyers, and compliance teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Assisting with risk assessments and identifying politically exposed persons (PEPs).
- Ensuring all regulatory and policy requirements are met and clearly communicated.
- Supporting internal teams with onboarding queries and file opening processes.
- Conducting conflicts searches and escalating issues where necessary.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. Previous experience in a similar onboarding, compliance, or professional services role is desirable, though full training will be provided. Confidence with IT systems and an organised, methodical mindset are essential.
