The role supports the development of a new cloud-based infrastructure designed to modernise the organisation's data and system architecture. Ideal for a business analyst with strong technical insight, the position offers varied project work across systems analysis, stakeholder engagement, and workflow design.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading analysis for the organisation's Data Transformation Programme.
  • Documenting supervisory and business requirements for new systems functionality.
  • Identifying and supporting improvements in data collection, storage, transformation, and reporting.
  • Contributing to the replacement of legacy systems and the implementation of new cloud-based microservices and repositories.
  • Re-engineering and testing end-user workflows for new systems rollouts.
  • Supporting software development and infrastructure projects with practical, analytical input.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements.
  • Providing guidance to other Business Analysts and supporting collaborative working groups.
  • Producing clear and accurate written documentation for internal use and audit purposes.
  • Using project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g. JIRA, DevOps).
  • Participating in the delivery of cross-functional training and supporting junior team members.
  • Staying up to date with regulatory frameworks and contributing to system alignment with regulatory objectives.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in business analysis roles involving complex data systems, ideally with exposure to cloud infrastructure, APIs, data repositories, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates should be analytical, solutions-focused, and confident managing input from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
