This role offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative operations team focused on delivering high-quality risk and compliance controls. You'll carry out AML and CDD reviews across a varied client base, contributing to ongoing regulatory assurance and process improvement. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Performing risk-based periodic reviews and CDD assessments, including onboarding, trigger events and scheduled updates.
- Reviewing and interpreting complex corporate structures using internal tools and open-source research.
- Checking and approving customer risk profiles, ensuring enhanced measures are clearly identified and documented.
- Conducting transaction monitoring and escalating concerns as needed.
- Identifying and updating customer data, escalating documentation gaps where required.
- Supporting internal reporting, operational procedure updates and compliance testing.
- Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
- Participating in system testing and contributing to ongoing projects and process enhancements.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in the finance industry with detailed knowledge of AML and CDD frameworks. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload. Experience with corporate structures, customer data systems and Microsoft Office is expected. A self-starter with a high level of accuracy and a collaborative approach will thrive in this role.
